Stardock has released a new enhanced version of WindowBlinds 4 that supports Windows 98 and ME (Windows XP and Windows 2000 were already supported).

WindowBlinds is a program that allows users to totally skin Windows. Title bars, push buttons, radio buttons, scrollbars, the Start bar, and a whole host of other pieces are all skinned by WindowBlinds.

The enhanced version of WindowBlinds is $19.95 or can be purchased as part of Stardock's Object Desktop suite of desktop enhancements for $49.95. The WindowBlinds home page is www.windowblinds.net

Looks like this will be the last hurrah for 9x and ME as far as WB goes. Take a look at the History link in SDC, and read what is being said in the release notes.

So, thank you for the effort, Stardock Developers, in getting one more release onto 98 and ME. I think it'll be the last, other than bugfixes.

I am a windows 98 user can anyone tell me how i receive the enhanced version of windows blinds 4,i currently run version 3.51 enhanced i was wondering if the special upgrade price still applied to windows 98 users does anyone know.

The special upgrade price applies to all registered users of WB 3. To purchase go to the website in the "visit now" link in the article above. WB 4.2 *should* work on W98, although some bugs are being reported by some users on 98 and XP. I haven't yet tried it on either OS so can't say firsthand.

Yeah, I saw the same posts about 4.2 https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?id=218568&BID=WC&page=1#219024 I'm kind of holding off running SDC and upgrading just yet.
