Plymouth, MI- (September 1, 2005) – Game publisher Stardock Entertainment has added the game Cellblock Squadrons to its electronic distribution system, TotalGaming.net. Cellblock Squadrons is an action/space sim developed by Western Australia based Super Furious Software.

Delve into a future world where every criminal has a debt to society, and the darkness of space is where it will be repaid. Join in missions with up to 99 other criminals and earn your freedom, so that one day, you can finally go home. Choose from five small craft and experience reflex busting gameplay, randomized weapon placements and some time in solitary confinement, as you fight against more than forty enemy battleships, bent on your entire squad's destruction.

Cellblock Squadrons can be purchased standalone for $25.00, or at a low cost of only 2 tokens with a TotalGaming.net membership. Either way, once a player purchases and downloads a game, it’s theirs to keep forever. If a player gets a new computer they can download a new copy and install it with no DRM hassles.

System Requirements: Windows 98/Me/2000/XP, 1 GHz Processor, 128 MB RAM, 50 MB Hard Disk Space, GeForce 3 / Radeon 8500 or Better Video Card, Sound Card, DirectX 8.1 or Higher

I found it very dull. It's too repetitive. you're in your cell, then you go out shoot a ship, then you're in your cell, then you go out shoot a ship, etc etc..

But . . . the shooting! Ships! Hot cell action!
