New version of the turn-based fantasy card game now available on TotalGaming.net

Plymouth, MI- (September 20, 2005) – Stardock Entertainment has released a new version of the popular fantasy card game, Astral Masters, available on the electronic distribution system TotalGaming.net. Developed by Apus Software, Astral Masters is the spiritual successor to Astral Tournament, which was released in September 2002.

The version 1.2 update includes:
  • Multiplayer over the Internet via Apus Software’s Astral Masters game server
  • Eight new cards
  • Gameplay balance tweaks for better human vs. human play
  • Additional music and sound effects
  • Fixes all known bugs
"The new version of Astral Masters will finally allow would-be wizards to put their skills to the test online," stated Brian Clair, Director of TotalGaming.net. "With the addition of Internet multiplayer action and the other updates, Astral Masters has become even more addictive."

Astral Masters can be purchased stand alone for $19.95, or may be bought at a discount using TotalGaming’s unique token system. Those who have already purchased the game through TotalGaming.net will get the upgrade for free through Stardock Central.
