Plymouth, MI- (September 23rd, 2005) – Stardock, ASUSTek Computer and NVIDIA have partnered together to offer PC users around the world a free ASUS desktop theme. ASUS plans to include the theme, along with all the software needed to transform a Windows XP PC desktop, in the retail box versions of ASUS award-winning line of graphics cards. ASUS is looking at expanding the offering to their line of motherboards and other products. NVIDIA is a sponsor of the ASUS desktop theme as part of their support for OEM card partners and system builders.
Powered by Theme Manager OEM from Stardock, the theme adds an ASUS-branded look to the Windows XP desktop. The theme features original graphics created by graphic artist Ian Black for Stardock’s design group, Stardock Media, and includes a WindowBlinds visual style, Windows icons and custom wallpaper.
Sean Lai, VGA Product Manager said “Stardock is the worldwide leader in desktop customization software. Working with them, we were able to create a desktop theme that reflects ASUS corporate image and gives our many loyal users a way to let the world know that they are using the best products.”
Larry Kuperman, Sales Manager at Stardock, added “ASUSTek is recognized as the worldwide leader in PC technology. We are pleased to have the opportunity to work with such a well-respected company."

NVIDIA looks forward to working with Stardock to bring the advanced features of NVIDIA's hardware to Stardock’s software suite.”
Since Theme Manager was first introduced in 2002, many companies have licensed this product from Stardock to create and distribute branded desktops for use in marketing. Clients include some of the largest and most well known companies in the world, such as Nintendo, Microsoft, NVIDIA, Alienware Computers, Warner Bros., Goodyear Tire and Rubber and many others.
The theme, including all needed software, will be available for a free download from NVIDIA’s NZONE website at http://www.nzone.com, as well as being bundled with ASUS products.
